A Typical Day
| |
We start every day with “The Quote Of The Day” as a warm up where students need to write down the quote and explain what it means to them. During this time I deal with any topics that might come up with students individually, like missing work, being absent, etc. Following our discussion of the quote, I talk about the agenda I have written on the board that lays out everything we be covering for the day. Before starting the lab, activity or notes, I will collect any homework that might be due. At the end of the class I review what we had just gone over for the day and explain the next day’s class. During this time I also remind students when homework is due and when tests will be coming up.

Grades
| |
My grades are based on Tests (one per chapter), Labs/Projects/Games (done 1 to 2 times per week), Notes (2 to 3 days a week), their Portfolio (collection of student work), written work, any make up work, and Quiz Grades
|
My Expectations
| |
I expect students to walk through the door ready to work with paper and a pen or pencil. When the bell rings I expect all students to be sitting in their assigned seat and working on their Quote Of The Day. If students can follow the class rules, pay attention, and turn their work in on time, they should have no problems passing my class.
