What is the purpose of athletics? I believe we are here as coaches to add to our student athletes’ education. I am here to help my athletes learn the game of baseball, do well in school, stay out of trouble, and reach their potential as student athletes. Being a positive roll model through my organizational skills, my ability to teach both in the classroom and on the baseball field, and living by the philosophies that I preach (work ethic,
being a good person, loving your family etc.) I feel I can demonstrate what I want my athletes to learn. I expect a lot during practice and in games by hustling all the time, being mentally aware of what is happening, being coachable, and to play the game way it was meant to be played. Respecting officials, their teammates, the other team, and the etiquette of the game are all objectives that I set for myself and my team. My kids will play with strong fundamentals, honor
and class.
